Life Lately -- Long time no see!

HI!!!

I have neglected this blog for the past few months...oops! Life got crazy, and it keeps getting crazier. I found myself thinking back to the blog, and how I was able to share and jot down what is going on is our little world, so I am giving it a second shot. Hopefully I can get back into a routine of writing again. A lot has happened since November when I last blogged. We were temporarily living in Wichita Falls, TX where Duke had some training for his new job. We don't miss Texas, but we do miss our friends who are stationed there. I will write a blog post soon about our TDY experience there!

Towards the beginning of December, I started to professionally shoot and explore the business side of my photography hobby. Oh man. There was much more involved in the whole process than anticipated, BUT it has been THE BEST. Growing a passion, and becoming confident with the camera was one of my favorite parts of 2018. Lots of hard work went into making a name for myself, hence the absence on the blog! I now have a photography website and a blog strictly for my work -- I will link it at the end of this post! I have had the honor to capture so many special life moments and beautiful souls over the past few months! Spring is around the corner and I am preparing to shoot some gorgeous weddings all over VA and even one in DE! Thank you for all the love and support over the launch of Lauran Gosney Photography! It truly means the world to me.

As 2018 came to an end, our little family was reunited in our sweet valley where we spent Christmas and New Years. We have since been settling back into our routine of school, work, and fitness in Delaware. Our wedding is in a few months, so planning has also kept us super busy.

We are so looking forward to the weather getting warmer so that we can get outside, be on the water, and take a few weekend trips to some surrounding areas that we have been talking about for awhile. Goose just turned one, and I am seriously in awe that as year has almost passed since one of the biggest moments of our lives. Last year this time, we were putting a down payment on a sweet little puppy that we would be able to bring home following Duke's USAFA Gradation and commissioning. TIME FLIES.

Okay folks, that's all I have for now. Talk soon!
