San Antonio Texas

San Antonio TX -- My favorite part of this HUGE state so far! San Antonio is such a large city, and there is good food everywhere you go. Downtown SA is gorgeous! We are typically not city people, but this city was so quaint. The roads were cobblestone, the architecture was amazing, and literally everything was adorned in plants -- my kind of city!

We went to the Sunday farmer's market near Pearl Brewery. It was crowded, but there were so many gems! Local farmers, food trucks, and artisans lined the streets. There were also tons of GORGEOUS stores. Since SA is semi-close to Mexico, there is a very strong Mexican influence on style and culture, which I loved. Gimme all the animal skulls and Mexican blankets. I could have wandered those streets much longer than we did. Pearl Brewery is a short walk from the SA River Walk! The River Walk is a must is you are in the area. It was so peaceful, and such a gorgeous day.

All of this artwork was for sale in our favorite shop that we visited -- The Tiny Finch. We would have loved to buy some, but it was very pricey! So what do you do when you love art but can't afford it?! TAKE ALL DA PICTURES!

SA Recommendations:

Mash'd -- We ate brunch here and it was THE BEST brunch we have ever had. No lie.

Sushi Zushi -- We ate here for lunch, and again, THE BEST sushi we have ever had. This was the weekend of amazing food.

The Tiny Finch -- Adorable store with the best design inspo!

As always, we explored this city on rented scooters. We rode about 10 miles total, and it cost us about $30. We were able to see so much more than if we were just walking. Scooters also make parking so much easier in a busy city. You don't have to worry about parking so close to your destination, because you can just hop on a scooter and ride the rest of the way!

Keep adventuring!
