A Few Hours in Nashville

On our drive to Texas, we set aside a few hours to explore Nashville. I fell in love with Music City. It was everything that I imagined, plus more. We walked around downtown and saw all of the "must see" places. Honestly, during the day, downtown Nashville is kind of dead. I can only imagine how fun it is at night though!

On a whim we rented electric scooters. We were able to cover so much more ground than if we had walked. The scooters went so fast, and it was a blast! I think for the whole time that we used both scooters, it only ended up being around $15. 100% worth it.

A few of our favorites:

We loved walking around the Arcade outdoor walking mall. A local actually recommended this to us. There were so many yummy mom&pop restaurants in that area. We also stumbled upon a Goorin Bros. Hat store...amazing!!! It was so cool to see and try on their hats in person. This is a must visit place if you love hats like we do!

For lunch we ate at Hot Hattie B's. They are known for their chicken, and it was just as amazing as we had heard. On a weekday, the line was out the door, which says a lot about a restaurant! We loved it, and would definitely go again.

Our last stop before hitting the road was Draper James...Reese Witherspoon's store! It was the cutest. The wall outside of the store is a famous photo spot, known for it's white and blue stripes. Across the alley from the Draper James wall is the famous "I Believe in Nashville" mural. This little area of Nash is filled with the cutest stores and cafes. The homes in this area were so quaint and perfect too! We loved looking at all of them, and despite not being city people, we both agreed that we would have such a blast if we lived in Nashville.
