Bower's Beach -- A Delaware Gem

Since moving to Delaware, we have had the amazing opportunity of living very close to the water. There are tons of beaches down the coast of DE, but our favorite is Bower's Beach. It is the most secluded and undeveloped beach that we have found. We can drive our car right out on the sand, which makes picnics and unloading paddle boards so easy.

Bower's Beach is 100% dog friendly!! Our house in Dover sits pretty close to the road, so Goose does not have the availability to run freely like he does when he is at the farm in the Valley. If you are familiar with the temperament of hunting dogs, this is not good. When Goose doesn't get to run and burn off his energy, he misbehaves. Taking him to the beach is a regular thing of us, because it benefits him so much. He has also been able to chase birds, and he recently overcame his fear of the water.
